Dear Chefs,
Greetings from IFCA.

It is that time of the season again when we meet to talk cooking, decide this year's food fashions and let out the buzz word from the kitchen.

The annual conference of the Indian Federation of Culinary Associations takes place in Hyderabad from November 14 to 16, 2009.

It is time, therefore, for the IFCA souvenir once again.

IFCA welcomes articles from you, our expert Chefs, on the universal business of cooking and eating -- the latest secrets from your kitchens, your new concoctions, trends and ideas.

The Theme: The theme of the 2009 souvenir is Thought for Food -II

LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION: October 15 (Thursday)

Length of the article: 600 words

PICTURES: We would appreciate 3-4 high resolution pictures that are related to your article. To be sent by email attachments. Pls send us your own photographs also.

Please submit online as word document attached to the above e-mail addresses or as body of e-mail.

Your subject line should be: souvenir article and your Name in Capital letter.

TOPICS: You can write on any subject related to food--- planning a meal, cooking, serving, baking, wines, sherbets, even the philosophy behind cooking and eating, the importance of presentation, besides on the art and the cultural impact of food, foreign foods, anything that is new, food fashions this year, who is eating what and Celebrity favourites.

Thought for Food, a souvenir, will be published by IFCA as part of the delegate kit as well as for circulation to the members of IFCA and to all the registered associates of the World Association of the Chefs Societies (WACS) in 72 countries. The Souvenir will contain a selection of articles from the some of the finest pens in the business. It will be a top of the line Production, A full colour glossy. A projected Print-run of 15000 copies will be circulated.

We expect to wish our readers Bon Appe*tit, as good a reading experience as their eating experience is.
